Not really my stuff. I just learned/cribbed it form earlier list posts,
some even from those who did the dirty work of ferreting this stuff out.
The other thing to remember is that none of these lenses are new
anymore. Some have had more "interesting" lives than others. If you get
one that 's supposed to be great based on the labeling and it isn't, it
may have some internal problem(s) that can be solved with a service, or
you might try another one, if it is a relatively cheap model.
