It was Bill's "Closet Queen" OM-2S. My beater OM-2S doesn't
seem to suffer said fate.
There was a moment of levity on the island (only one?) when
Bill's MINT+++ OM-2S seemed to age dramatically behind his back.
It was before the coffee was ready. I know I'm going to pay for
that one. Wait till you see the photos of my "bad hair days".
Speaking of camera wear: In a way it suprised me how different
our E-1 cameras looked. Mine is most definitely the "farm
truck" of the bunch while Bill's just came back from the shop
and had that "New Camera Glow" to it. Finally, I'm starting to
get some grip seperation! Wahoo! The sensor also needs
cleaning (per the F180 test...) so it might be time to send it
in for a CLA. Oh, no hurry, maybe after I get the new E-x. That
can't be any more than three more years.
