Sorry Charles, I wasn't deliberately keeping anyone hung up dry. OK, here's
what you do:

(a) Remove your batteries from the 2n
(b) Flick power lever against spring loaded position
(c) Keep it in that position
(d) Press shutter release button

This function was not documented because we could not guarantee 100pc
consistent speed response although if my memory serves me well, I think we
were aiming for a "rudimentary" 1/30sec. Do check it out yourself and let me
know what you are getting in terms of actual shutter speed.
