I think you are referring to what happens when you remove a lens from a 
3, 3Ti, 4, 4T, 4Ti etc.  Those bodies have reset switch built into the 
mount.  Camera beeps on lens removal. Since 2S does not have this 
switch, there is no beep upon lens removal.
