Yep. Buddy of mine owns a 5D and borrows my OM-series lenses to use on
it all the time. 'Specially the wide angles, 'cause the Canon ones (to
use his phrase) "are utter crap." He's *really* pleased with the fact
that my 28mm and 21mm 2.0's are almost completely free of rectilinear
distortion.

Some modes work, others don't. Same as with OM lenses on the E-1.
Moose (for one) can probably give you more detailed info. I believe
manual and aperture-priority are the two modes that work with virtually
no change at all.

Not with a high-quality adapter. My buddy bought the CameraQuest one.
$175.00 U.S., and in his opinion worth every penny. My quick once-over
convinced me that the tolerances are extraordinarily fine, and you
should probably spend the money to get a good one.

You betcha!

No. In fact, I'm about *this* far away from getting a 5D for myself.
I'm waiting on PhotoKina in September to see if Oly will *finally* step
up to the plate and release the new E-x pro-level digi. If not, it's
gonna be the 5D, I think, and the CameraQuest adapter.

Too many reasons to switch, not enough to stick with film. GO FOR IT. ;-)

All fine examples. Should all work.

*No* idea about that.

Enjoy spending the money. 8^>
