[OM] E-500 firmware update needed for file delete and copy

I have come up with a couple of complaints about the current firmware
in the E-500 relative to file copying to another card, and with file
deleting. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I missing something?

Having two cards is a neat feature and opens up the possibility of
creating a second collection of images on the spare card, useful when
on a long trip and I would like to keep a small file version (HQ) of
some of my best shots to review during the trip and show to others.
The RAW and corresponding HQ jpg on the main card I will download to
a portable cardreader/hard drive. The annoying thing is you cannot
select to just copy to the spare card just the jpg or the RAW of the
selected files - you have to copy both. Then I have to manually
delete just the RAW file from the spare card to keep enough space to
hold a week or two of the best shots.

That is where the second annoyance comes in. You thankfully can
select to delete just the RAW or just the jpg, but only if you delete
one file at a time, not when you select a series of files and try to
delete one type of all the selected files at once. In that case you
would delete both the RAW and jpg. Also annoying is when you select
to delete just one of the file types, which you must do one file at a
time, after deleting the file, you are scrolled back to the last file
on the card. So if you are trying to delete a long series of files
of just one file type, you have to keep scrolling back to where your
next file to delete is.

All very annoying, when it could be made so much easier. It is a
great feature that is made very annoying by poor execution. It does
work - just annoying and more time consuming than it should be. It
seems to me this could be easily fixed by a firmware update.
