Don

I have taken the odd portrait with my 135 lenses in the past and I
reckon it's a bit long for 35mm :-). The 14-54 f2.8~3.5(28 - 108
efl) is excellent for portraits in my view. I take head portraits of
some of my students (for their ID cards) sometimes and it works out
very well.

I also have the 35mm f3.5 macro (70 efl) and that should be fine for
portraits, but I have not used it as such yet.
