[OM] OT What's happening in Europe?

When loitering and piddling around at home, I often keep CNN running in the 
background, and just now while passing by, I heard the announcement that 
"Germany is up 3 to 1."  What's going on over there anyway?  Have they invaded 
somebody again?  :-)
