I had problems with a small Kingston SD card and I've tended to avoid
the brand since - wouldn't work, brand new. Three brands of camera
didn't recognise it. But as someone said, it may not have been an
ideal card for cameras (although there it was on the rack at the
office supplies place, right next to the photo gear). The two brands
that get offered a lot at the local computer market are Kingston and
another Taiwanese one, Eagletec - which has also served me well.
I've just bought a Transcend 120X 2 gb CF as the price was great for
the speed - unknown Taiwanese although I have seen them around and
they seemed to be based in California. Seems to work just fine. Love
the speed.
