My recollection of the 4/3 standard is that image/sensor size and
proportions are not defined, only the bounds are defined. Perhaps the bounds
are indicated by Walt's measurements, being anything that fits into a 30mm
circle!

Anyone have a sense of the coverage of the Oly digital lenses?  If it is
generous couldn't Oly some time in the future decide on a little bigger
sensor in order to increase resolution and keep noise down? I could see them
putting circuitry in the camera that would detect the model of lens, its
setting  and automatically correct any mild vignetting automatically. Or
resurrect the square format. Hmm.
