Joel, the 410 is one of the few heads and perhaps the only
'reasonably' priced one that allows independent micro adjustments on
three axes.

Various companies make camera plates that utilize the Arca-Swiss
mount.  These plates fit the base of the camera/lens/etc. and provided
a very secure, non-twisting base.  The bottom of that base is then
attached to an Arca-Swiss locking clamp at the top of the 'pod to
create a very secure platform from which to make pix.
