I guess it would depend on whether you figure into the equation the
amount of money already tied up in the 35-105.  If you got it free or
don't count it, I would think the lens in good working order is worth
no less than $200, perhaps more if the almighty cosmetics are good.

But I'm going to advocate simply to return a champion to the fold. 
The 35-105 has been one of my favorite lenses.  If you don't need f2.8
or greater speed, it is very hard to beat.  I would probably get rid
of every prime in that range before letting mine go.  But I grew up
with zooms and love 'em.
