I just wish I could remember all the stuff I replaced on my TR-6. Here's a
partial list:
Mallory electronic ignition and coil to replace points and Lucas coil setup
Two-barrel Weber carbs to replace side-draft Strombergs
Electric fuel pump to replace whatever that thing was that couldn't keep up
Stainless steel headers to replace cast iron choker
Stainless steel REAL dual exhaust system to replace stock choker
Koni shocks and competition springs, front and rear, to replace stock stuff
AM-only radio replaced with AM/FM cassette deck (this was before CDs)
I know there were other "improvements," but I'd have to interrupt this
scintilating correspondence, not to mention my football watching, to go down
into the basement garage to have a look-see. To put it mildly, I think I
improved it, which is why I've still got it. :-)
