Almost any battery will sweat (leak) if it is old enough. Usually I get
them from the guy who brags about getting 10 years out of his PX-13. ;-)
Once I took the battery cap off an OM-2 and found it had severely bulging
MS76 batteries. As I set the camera down to go get a cup of coffee, one of
the batteries exploded like a firecracker.
