We have the equivalent here in the U.S. in a number of chain 'Drug
Stores' that attempt to be all things to all people. Not uncommon to
present oneself at the photo counter, hear one's presence announced
over the intercom and watch as the person stocking the shampoo walks
over to take care of the photo order. Simple retail economics at
work.
And I'm still adjusting to the fact that I can buy grocery items at
the local hardware store.
