I have missed a lot on this thread, but thought I would chime in since I have
shot 12 rolls of Velvia 100. Much better film when compared to 100f in terms
of saturation without an amber look. Whites are much cleaner. Grain is very
low. It has more exposure latitude than 50. The new Velvia 100 is more like
saturated Provia. I definitely gets the blues in open shade like Provia, much
more than 50. It is a very good saturated film with cleaner colors,
low grain,
improved latitude and an extra stop. While testing this film I have used more
Velvia 50 in the past month. I think Velvia 50 will be missed by many.
  Velvia
100 is definitely at different film.
