Sorry, but obviously you don't know what has been going on and did
not pay attention to what people were saying. The mismanagement of
this crisis is monumental. For instance a plane of 50 Canadian
workers arrived and began rescuing people on Wednesday, the next day
after the levee failed. FEMA arrived on Sunday saying it was
impossible to fly in. The National Guard began to arrive on Monday. A
Navy hospital ship with helicopters and doctors was turned away by
FEMA. The list goes on and on. Supporting an incompetent government
that has killed people because of inaction and a perverse prevention
of action is a strange example of compassion.
