That's exactly what I did. I bought a used mid-range zoom. I still have
only two EOS AF lenses, although I think a third is in my near future.
However, at least until taking some time to build up lenses for the new
DSLR, whatever brand, it's nice to be able to use macro, portrait, long
zooms, etc. from the old system inventory.
