The E-1 is really an odd beast. The specifications suggest that
the thing is a real slug. For some reason, those same
specifications aren't holding the images back. Wierd.
It is big and heavy. Or is it?
It has noisy images. Or does it?
It doesn't have enough pixels. For what?
It isn't fast enough. Am I fast enough?
It has a funky review histogram. I like the way it works.
It doesn't do multispot or OTF metering. Aarrrggh! Grumble!
I take pictures with the camera--lot's of pictures (over 7000
with it already). I sell lot's of pictures. Customers are
happy, I'm happy. My pictures are better, overall, than ever
before. It even looks like a real professional camera.
I think you'll be satisfied with the E-1 once you've gotten past
the initial learning curve.
