Which is one reason I was told not to begin a hike into those mountains in
the afternoon. Storms come up fairly suddenly and you watch your buddy's
hair get big in a hurry. We had only sprinkles from this
fellow. Elevation at the vantage point is about 10,500 feet. I love the
Colorado Rockies (the actual mountains I mean).
