And what was interesting is that the newbie bid up to the $250 limit of his
counterbidder, but did not bid over it. His bid of $250 was matched by the
earlier bidder - which should have told him that a bid of $255 would have
given him the winning bid. Until the least seven seconds. A lot of work
for nothing.
