Thanks Joel. Yes, most of the attractive, small churches are C of E.
The non-conformist churches, like the Methodist church in our village,
are recognisable by their relatively plain lines. The Roman Catholic
churches tend to be newer, some being really horrible 70s architecture.
My own RC church is a little better than that, but when I am not
working on Sundays (back to Christian weeks in March thank goodness) I
go to Mass in a small Methodist Church on a Sunday afternoon.
I do have a real "thing" about our village churches. You will have
seen from GeeBee's wonderful images how beautiful they are, especially
given the right weather for a photo. I often think of doing a project
on them ...
