Winsor, we have a general election coming up, when nobody ever lets
principles stand in the way of any chance to criticize opponents. And, of
course, nothing should be allowed to threaten democracy - why that has been
clear for well over twenty years ... since "1984"

subject the list to political comment except to say that it is really
bizarre to see conservatives expressing concern for the loss of citizen
rights in your country during the conservative assault on rights in this
