There is a review in this month's Leica magazine and it is not too
positive.  Quite detailed a review, they like lots of things, but
overall are not in love it the Epson RD-1

I did not suggest it before because I did not know you would consider  
an expensive camera. Have you considered the Epson RD-1 which is a  
digital rangefinder with a DSLR sized sensor. Takes Leica lenses. It is

really a temptation.
