Focus at full aperture, meter at stopped down aperture when using manual
aperture lenses (or auto lenses on manual tubes) on the OM.  Don't try to
focus when stopped down.

But I think you knew that anyway!

I was (am) confused by the expression 'stop down' focusing -- wouldn't
closing down the aperature make focusing harder? Am I missing something
painfully obvious here?
