People do have varying expectations on the quality of communications
depending on the source. The worst verbal presentation I ever heard was
delivered by a man who had a long list of Toastmaster awards. Knowing that

There's only one way to describe this post of yours Winsor: disarming
...;-)

I agree that a DIY website, especially one that provides so much useful
information pretty well free, is allowed to make mistakes in the rush
to serve its audience.  British newspapers are some of the worst
offenders, but The Independent has its own "QC" editor, Guy Kelleny,
who reports all the solecisms that he has spotted during the week.  I
learn from many of his comments.
