Cross point, Reed and Prince, posi-drive and Philips all appear to be
similar at first glance (+) but they are all different enough to cause
damage to screws if the improper driver is used. Here is an example of
Philips (silver tip) and cross point (black tip) that i have posted before.

I guess I'll have to go out to the shop and get a photo of the entire
line up :>)
In my estimation all four types should be avoided if at all possible.
Robertson, hex, torx etc are all far superior.
