I don't think that Olympus UK knew about the adaptor for a while, or
perhaps they were in denial. I have reported before that a very
reputable dealer in Cambridge (Campkins) did not know about the
adaptor.

I asked Olympus UK recently about an adaptor for the E-300 and I
received this reply:

"Dear Mr. Barker,

I acknowledge receipt of your recent e-mail and note its content
accordingly.

I regret that there is currently no information pertaining to this. I
shall, however, keep your e-mail on file until such time as this
information is available.

Regards,

David Williams"

I have not heard from them since, but perhaps I shall ginger them up a
bit by telephoning and asking directly ... ;-)
