This is what i was talking about. Usually there is enough room to tuck a
wire without removing the carpet nor the board. With that kind of wall
construction though you are pretty much 'up the creek' without cutting a
channel in the block, not hard to do but messy. That type of
construction is only found in warmer climes over here with few
exceptions. Of course some of you live in houses constructed when the
PacNW was a void on your map and people here were living in houses made
from split cedar logs :>).
