I would hate to see either major US political party in total control without
some checks and balances. Our system wasn't designed to make everybody happy
all the time and it works well most of the time. I hate to see one or two
manufacturers dominate too so hope Olympus can be a strong success with the
digital SLR system. It seems that they could have somehow maintained a low
level support for the OM system but the accountants rule. Good politicians
know better than to piss off a large part of their loyal customer base.
Political trauma will always be a cyclical thing but my OMs will endure and
I take comfort in that. /jmac

If I had to vote straight party I would never vote. I tend to vote issues,
so pick and choose the person who most appears to follow my personal
beliefs.
