The Pelican cases are supposed to be waterproof but they are very awkward in
a kayak. That much gear is awkward in a kayak if you need to get at it while
in the water. A small bodied camera that can be carried in a waterproof
pouch is better for shooting from the boat. /jmac

Lowepro or Tamrac makes a small yellow back pack, which I think might
protect
your gear from a roll in the sea. The pelican cases would also handle the
