A couple of days ago Skip posted a link to a mirror of Helmut Dersch's
PanoTools site, in relation to use of Photoshop for architectural
photography. The site is *well* worth a look if you have any interest in
using Photoshop for perspective correction more generally. Dersch gives
example and tutorials on hemispherical panorama construction, for example,
as well as macro photography looking out from within the flower head of a
rose. Now how the h*ll can you get even a Min*x into the flower head? Go
take a look!

In this context, it would be possible to use PanoTools to extract the
distorted reflection from the kettle and reconstruct a reasonable likeness
of the photographer.

So the are downsides to Dersch's tool. But it is freeware!
