Hi Olaf:

I don't own one but I'm told that the hump is normal, may have to do with 
structural strength as it is where the timer would be on the OM 4 Ti.

  From: Olaf Iwert  I came across an OM 3Ti in perfect condition, but one 
problem : 
  The leather on the position, where the OM 4 / OM 4Ti have their self timer 
was bowed, so it is thicker.
