Yup, you are right.  Like the time I sold an Infinity (AF-1) to a guy who 
really wanted a Canon SureShot.  He came back a few days later and showed me 
out of focus shots.  I showed him how to lock focus, and pointed him to the 
page in the manual that described the procedure, as well.  But he really wanted 
a SureShot, so he got one in exchange.
