The tubes displace assuming outside dia. 3 feet in water and 3 tubes
(1.5in)(1.5in)(3.14)/4 area of cross section of pipe
x36in long x 3 tubes = 191 cubic in.
so you're guess of a gallon which is 231 cubic inches is close.
191/231 x approx 8lb/gallon = 6.6lbs buoyancy force.
