Yes indeed Moose.

John, this is just a further clear symptom of something fundamentally
*wrong* with your 4T.

Do as Moose suggests.

And do it now ;-)

Those guys blew it and you need to get them to make good on their work.
It's unlikely to get well on its own and a 4T is a terrible thing to waste.

Get a roll of slide film and take sample pics. You might even go so far
as to put hand lettered signs in each exposure documentating how it was
taken to avoid possible confusion and/or obfuscation on the other end.
Take shots in Auto and Manual, with and without self timer and both wide
open and at an intermediate or small aperture (to define or eliminate
aperture problems and test different shutter speeds). Also take
comparison shots in Manual Mode at the normal 1/60 and (in any mode,
doesn't matter) at the special red 1/60 manual setting down next to 'B'.
Take or send the camera with the film proof that it is malfunctioning
and documenting the specific malfunctions to the people who did it wrong
and demand proper repair or your money back. If that doesn't work, it's
time to contact whatever part of Oly licenses them.
