I also recently bought an 'Electronic Flash AC, ADAPTER 2' along with a
'TTLAUTO CORD T 5m' - as listed on the pristine boxes that these previously
unused items came in. 5UKP each, say $16USD for the pair. Does this qualify
me as a member of the 'Fang' club now?

My adapter is labeled

Input - AC 249v 50/60Hz 6W
Outpu - DC 200V 10mA

Not being at all up on electricity I'm assuming this is safe for UK mains
use although I must admit that I've not yet even put a plug on the thing as
the wire ends are obviously completely untouched... but the dark nights of
winter begin to draw in.

Be careful, the Olympus adapter is by design current limited. A 120V/220V
travel adapter will very likely deliver higher current than the Olympus
adapter. This could result in a nasty situation if something ever went
wrong with the flash.
