My dad has one of these and he has found the wein air cells work for it. They 
have a shorter life that the correct originals. There are adapters available to 
get an SR44/LR44 to work in place of the old mercury type. 

As to that 1.5 replacement I would expect it to have the same problems as an 
OM-1 would have when it is used without modification. i.e meter readings off 
and possibility of permanent damage. Perhaps an email to Gossen (via their US 
distributer would resolve the above point). 

Anyway it should be possible to get it recalibrated with a similar type of 
modification to what happens in the OM-1. Perhaps someone like John can confirm 
if I am correct in that theory.
