 I found that a reasonable substitute when taking shots while snowboarding
(okay, I'd stop snowboarding, take the shot, then start again, not motion
blur stuff -- though that'd be cool, I'd want to use a disposable for that
just in case..) is to put the body in one inside jacket pocket and the
lenses in another.

 This was using an OM2S in about -25C or so, and I had no mechanical
problems. The secret seems to be to wear thin liner gloves under whatever
you're wearing for insulation; that way I still have enough warmth to (just)
take body out of pocket, take body out of thick mitten that was padding it;
take lens out of pocket, out of bag, assemble them, compose, shoot,
disassemble, repack, put away, put big warm gloves on again..
