Don't! Don't get me started as well! Just like the Black Arrow project. ARRRGGGG!!!!!!!! There is a TSR 2 still hanging around. Its at Duxford I think. I'll get there one day with a large articulated truck............... :-)

All the best,

I cannot let this pass.........The TSR2...Best plane of its
type in the world at the time..killed of by a short sighted British
government and International power politics. All jigs, prototypes and mock
ups destroyed after a mysterious governmental order for which no one
admitted responsibility!
           Way ahead of it's time.
A bit like the Mosquito twin engined fighter / bomber of the second world
war (1939/45.) Construction was considered crazy..but now is being used by
composites....Sorry for OT. post but I just LOVE these planes :-))

Agreed, Gareth, there are some very interesting viewpoints around a
Vulcan.
For fear that bystanders observe that we are off-topic, I must point out
that Concorde uses a development of the engines designed for Vulcan, which
are (of course) Bristol ...

PS Please no mention of TSR2!
