I have dealt with him and did not like it either. That was back in 1998. Do
not remember the story, but remember him leaving the impression as being sneaky
seller, who would tell anything to "complete" the sale.
And yes, he is not American, I think he is German living in CA (does not fit
the stereotype...).

He may have used that one(and it does seem familiar), but I do not
know. I have been following his shenanigans since late 1998, and I know
he has had a lot of names. It seems the one I am thinking of had a
Russian 'sound' about it. I got outbid on one of his auctions that did
not make reserve at some astronomical amount, and then he contacted me
to try to get me to buy it outside eBay. I was still new to eBay, but
did have enough common sense to say no. I have been searching for that
email since I printed it out, but can not find it for the name. I posted
a list of known names not too long ago, but do not have the list
available, and the name I am looking for escaped me even then.
