I have both Olympus 2 series and Beattie screens. Similar brightness,
but I much prefer the smoother 'feel' of the 2.
I favor the plain screens... allows me to jump from macro to tele
without ever having a split-screen 'blackout'. Might not be too great
if fast focus is one of your requirements.
If you want a grid, go with a John H. hand scribed job as the Beattie
grid is very coarse. IMNSHO
