I got an OM2n Package deal off of eBay and the ad said it could NOT be told
from new?
The winder was bent, the film advance was frozen and the seller Jeff Bourne
Ebay name, jbourne@xxxxxxxxxx, even accused me of doing it!
I had to waist more money doing a stop ck payment and $37. sending the crap
back.
I left negative feedback and now face unfair retaliation in feedback.
The thing that locks my jaws is the seller being so blind to his dishonesty
and saying I did it!

As a pretty experienced buyer on the 'Bay, I certainly don't require a
100 0.000000eedback rating. It seems virtually impossible to maintain that as
a regular seller over the long run. If it's a seller with a low number
of total feedbacks, I'll look at the individual negs. For big sellers,
I'll look at any recent negs and otherwise just go ahead with anyone
with around 10r less negatives. I've even gone higher than that on
occasion.

The flip side of the 'jerks and weasels' is that the vast majority I've
dealt with have been honest and generally helpful and friendly when
called for. Sure I've been 'had' a few times, but mostly not for much
and there is no way I could have spent (wasted?) so little money on all
this stuff I've bought without a marketplace like the 'Bay. I would have
bought less or spent more and spent an unbelieveable amount more time
and effort.
