Have you put a trace on it? If not, go to your P.O. and do so. Explain
about the incomplete address. It MAY turn up something. As people have
mentioned, in addition to going by boat vs. air, letters, small parcels, etc.
get lost behind cases, carts, under driver seats, etc. Getting a trace
request prompts a little housekeeping in the vicinity of the respective
clerks' & carriers' furniture. Been there, done that. Despite all the bad
press and mis-routed mail (3 - 10%...blame management, who set the speed of
the sorting equipment), most postal employees DO care.
