Only in the last two or three weeks have I seen advertised in the Canadian
media an Leica M looking digital camera bearing the Leica logo and a lens
with either "Leitz" or "Summilux" or both words written round the front of
the lens. Whether Leitz is franchising its name out for royalities or
whether this is a genuine Wetzlar product who knows! The ad didn't go into
these minor details.
