Hi Richard,
OM PC is a nice and cheap camera, it has auto setting too, so even if she
does not like the manual controls the camera would not end up in the closet.
You might be able to make things more interesting for her if you equip the
camera with a nice, but not expensive zoom within the range of 28-80 may be,
macro setting would be a plus.
You would need an adaptor for the manual setting on OM10 and I suspect that
OM 2000 would be more expensive.
