Maybe, in some circumstances, like shooting something fairly small really
close-up. At more than a few inches, I think you may still have a
two-light look even with massive quantities of diffusion. Using the T8 is
as close as you can get to shooting in a light tent without actually doing
so as long as the object is smaller than the reflector.
