I have one of the above zooms, which is not working.
Mechanically it zooms and focuses but the OM77 won't
recognize the chip in the lens. Now I also have a
couple of those ubiquitous 35-70/3.5-4.5 AF lens and
wondered if I could interchange the chips from the
35-70 and put it into the zoom. The only reason is
that this Olympus AF zoom was one of the better zooms
made in the 80's and I would like to have it
operational. Has anyone ever taken apart an AF Oly
lens?
