Usually not, but field curvature do automatically come into pay for the
final performance of a lens and it should be. Just like the L*ica 35/1.4,
50/1.4 and 75/1.4 once tested by Pop photo, the high field curvature lead to
the very low SQF score at F1.4 and F2 and their test target was even at
infinity.

For sure it will be different if you focus at the edges when evaluating the
edge performance.
