This question is primarily directed at Gary Reese -- but has anyone taken
into account curvature of field when rating edge sharpness of a lens at
close focus. Aka, Gary test (probably not relevant since he uses 1:40 but if
he had used 1:8 it might be) would edge test differently if focus was optimized
for the edge and not the center ?
